ABR　コンペロアーアームブッシュセット Phase2

ABR - This bush was originally conceived by Mr. Ian Haughey Graves of Avon Racing approximately 25 years ago. Over an extended period, it has evolved into the current Phase-2 type.

​2​ Its durability sets it apart by two ranks from other bushes. It won't require replacement for a considerable period. Unlike some Teflon bushes, it offers flexibility. Furthermore, while the suspension becomes free-moving like a pillow ball, the bushing retains the overall durability of the suspension, making it ideal. Unlike reinforced bushes that merely replicate the size, this Phase-2 type has been designed, taking into account the finer dimensions and hidden shapes, to anticipate further assembly, giving you peace of mind. If possible, please consider replacing the tension rod bush with AB008 at the same time. The lower arm axis is designed with hardness and resilience adjustments, taking into account the balance with the free-moving suspension. This results in very smooth suspension movement, which allows the performance and condition of the shock absorbers to become more apparent. Therefore, worn or poorly conditioned shock absorbers may not be able to hide their shortcomings. In such cases, it is essential to conduct thorough inspections and setups to understand the condition of the suspension.

​3​ In 2010, ABR Manufacturing further evolved the initial AVONBAR type by creating a new model with a mesh-like roller groove inside the bush, capable of retaining grease (Photo ②). At that time, they also shifted production from Australia to their headquarters' factory in the UK, starting the production of the high-quality and upgraded Phase-2.

ABR このブッシュは約25年前にエイボンバーレーシングのイアンハ―グレイブス氏が考案したブッシュです。長い期間を経て現在のphase2タイプに進化しました。

【この製品の品質について】他のブッシュとは耐久性が2ランクは違います。当分のあいだは交換が不要になります。一部のテフロンブッシュなどとは違って柔軟性があります。またサスがピロ足のようにフリームーブ化されながらもブッシュ部分がサス全体の耐久性も保持しますので理想的です。 サイズだけをコピーした強化ブッシュとは違い、このPhase-2タイプは更に組みあげられた状態を想定して細部の寸法や見えない部分の形状までが設計してありますので安心して使えます。できれば同時にテンションロッドブッシュもAB008に一緒に換えてください。ロアアーム軸がフリームーブに対してのバランスを考慮して硬度・粘りを調整して設計してあります。

足回りが非常にスムースに動くようになりますのでショックアブソーバーの性能や状態がはっきり出ます。ですからへたってコンディションの悪いショックアブソーバーはごまかしが効かない場合もあります。その際は点検・セットアップを十分に行って足回りの消耗状態をつかんでおくことも大切です。

【アップグレードの歴史】2010年にABR製がAVONBAR初期タイプをさらに進化させてブッシュの内側にグリスが保持できる網状のロレット溝（写真②）を作った際に新しい型を造り工場をオーストラリアからイギリス本社の自社ファクトリーに変更し高品質かつアップグレードされたPhase-2を生産を開始しました。
